MARRIAGE is so important to God and His Master Plan for Mankind that we should NOT take this subject lightly. And we should never assume that we know it already. The only solution to all the world's problems is the Marriage between JESUS CHRIST and His BRIDE! The coming SALVATION means marriage to Jesus Christ! Therefore, everyone must strive to understand God's principles of Marriage. This series of marriage articles will help you understand Marriage according to God's design and purpose.

The CHURCHES ARE ACTUALLY DESTROYING MARRIAGES AND FAMILIES!

Shocking, but true! It is hard to believe, but my personal experience proved this statement to be true -- the Churches' Ministry destroyed my family! And Churches and their pastors must also realize that they are deceived in this marriage thing; otherwise, their own families and churches will self-destruct as what happened to the Worldwide Church of God (WCG) and its founder, Mr. Herbert Armstrong!

If the Churches with their pastors and priests will not repent, they are cursed, as most of them are now cursed; approving abortion, and even officiating same-sex marriages!

Did the ministry do something serious and effective to solve this haunting problem. Are the pastors (shepherds) humble enough to admit their ignorance? The facts and fruits show that the pastors obey their pride and ego, more than the words of God! Instead of discussing and solving the problem, they would not even allow sermonette men to speak about this subject!

I was once one of the sermonette speakers during a Philadelphia Church of God (PCG) Feasts and Sabbath services. I saw a lot of marriage relationship in the Church falling apart, so I decided several times to speak on the subject of marriage. Yet, the ministry prohibited me to speak about this subject most of the time!

THE WEAKEST SUBJECT IN THE CHURCHES IS ABOUT MARRIAGE AND FAMILY!

Mr. Herbert Armstrong (HWA) is now dead and gone, and the Worldwide Church of God (WCG) had disintegrated into hundreds of splinter groups ("daughter churches"). One of the most prominent among these splinter groups is the Philadelphia Church of God (PCG) lead by Mr. Gerald Flurry. The PCG claimed to follow the footsteps of HWA. Mr. Flurry also claimed that he received revelation from God about the God Family vision. Yet in his book, "The God Family Vision", page 148, this is what he said about marriage:

• "I believe this is the subject we are weakest in today in the Philadelphia Church of God. ...Our families and marriages reflect how well we understand this vision." --The God Family Vision

Yes, the number one problem in the PCG is still marriage!

This is the cry of the PCG Ministry in their sermons and announcements. This is the same number one Church problem during the time of HWA. This is a continuous admission of the Churches' failure in teaching the true knowledge and truth about marriage.

If you have marriage troubles, it does follow that you have family troubles! I supposed the same failure is occurring in the other splinter groups and other churches of the world.

Mr. Flurry continues in his The God Family Vision book, page 148,

• "If both parties in a marriage understand this, they ought to have the greatest marriage ever!"

This is true. But how can both parties in a marriage understand if the great mystery of marriage is not revealed or explained to them? And how can this Great Marriage Mystery be revealed to them if the Church is deaf and blind to God's Marriage revelations?

Before you can truly understand the God Family Vision, you must first received God's revelation of the Great Mystery of Marriage, which is the Christ - Church Marriage relationship.

If the Churches claimed to received revelation from God about the God Family Vision, and yet, at the same time knew that they are great failures in the area of marriage and family, how do they appear before God? Did they really receive the God Family vision from God, or it is just a false or foolish vision of their own imagination?

• So says the Lord GOD, Woe to the foolish prophets who follow their own spirit and have seen nothing! (Ezek 13:3 MKJV) 

• Your prophets have seen false and foolish things for you, and THEY HAVE NOT UNCOVERED YOUR INIQUITY, to turn away your captivity; but they have seen false oracles and seductions for you. (Lam 2:14 MKJV)

They have not discovered thine iniquity - They did not reprove for sin, they flattered them in their transgressions; and instead of turning away thy captivity, by turning thee from thy sins, they have pretended visions of good in thy favor, and false burdens for thy enemies. -- Adam Clarke's Commentary on the Bible
