The BRIDE OF CHRIST MINISTRY OF LIFE
During the early 1970's, Mr. Herbert W. Armstrong (HWA) encountered a kind of marriage deception when he realized the influence of the wives of the top Headquarter ministers concerning the use of makeup by women in the Worldwide Church of God (WCG). The WCG became off-tracked and on its way to oblivion. God intervened and awakened HWA to the Satanic invasion.
HWA was able to partially correct the situation and put back the Church on the right track. HWA was able to partially see what God is trying to let him see -- the great danger of the fact that the wives were able to influence their minister-husbands. But HWA failed to do what God wanted him to do with this problem.
HWA realized that Satan was able to penetrate the Church through the women and wives in the Church. He publicly admitted that he and the entire Church were deceived! HWA was manipulated to affix his signature authorizing the use of makeup in the Church, even published in the Church bulletin! He said that he repented of that. He then went into an in-depth study of the subject of makeup taking great lengths to explain to the Church the history and real purposes of makeup which he proved that Satan is behind it all.
HOW SUBTLY SATAN USED MAKE-UP TO START THE CHURCH OFF-THE-TRACK
This event was written by HWA in an article, titled, "How Subtly Satan used MAKE-UP to Start the Church Off the Track." We can learn many lessons here, as the article is a chronicle of a true story about how a marriage problem in the Worldwide Church of God (WCG) resulted in the Church's demise. Some of his significant statements are the following (excerpts selection and emphasis mine):
- Yet Satan did get to our wives today...
- How cleverly, without our suspecting it, did Satan influence leading ministers to derail the Church in many ways! I want, now, to take you brethren through a history of this seemingly minor question of female make-up as it progressed during the 50's, 60's, and 70's in the Church.
- Some of us have weakened. Some of us have been caught off guard. I am human like all of you, and I was caught off guard and without at the time realizing it, ALLOWED this liberalism to creep stealthily into God's flock! I now repent of that and the living Christ leads me to do what He inspires me to do to correct it and get this holy Body of Christ BACK COMPLETELY ON THE TRACK. For we have not been fully back on the track even yet!
- This may be somewhat of a minor question, yet it was used by Satan to help derail the Church! It is only one of a number of points that led us off track.
- But as Satan maneuvered to start ALL HUMANITY off the track in the garden of Eden, so in these latter days he maneuvered to use the women of God's Church to start the END-TIME Church off the track. And the whole Church was deceived!
- Because the daughters of Zion (meaning our people Israel or the Church today) are haughty, and walk with stretched forth necks, and wanton eyes (glancing wantonly with their eyes-- RSV. . .
- Now that certainly DOES NOT set a GOOD EXAMPLE for the women of God's Church today! Yet this effort to introduce LIBERALISM and COMPROMISE WITH SATAN in God's Church, went on to ARGUE:
- O, women of God's Church! Did you let that subtle TWIST mislead you, as SATAN wanted to mislead you?
- And here, in the BULLETIN of GOD'S CHURCH, without my knowledge or approval, was printed a subtle and MISLEADING TWIST on GOD'S SACRED AND HOLY WORD! I did not know this was being printed -- BUT I APOLOGIZE BEFORE GOD FOR IT!
- Satan introduced SIN into humanity through a woman, mother EVE. She was MISLED, deceived. She didn't deliberately WILL to do wrong -- to lead her husband into the first SIN!
- She was deceived, as our women have been today. Go back and read the beginning paragraphs of this article. It is precisely the way Satan has been getting to our women today.
- Satan used human reason and MAKE-UP and WOMEN to START the ball of LIBERALISM AWAY FROM GOD and TOWARD SIN to rolling in the Church beginning October 1974.
- Yet Satan did get to our wives today... How cleverly, without our suspecting it, did Satan influence leading ministers to derail the Church in many ways! I want, now, to take you brethren through a history of this seemingly minor question of female make-up as it progressed during the 50's, 60's, and 70's in the Church.

WHY AND HOW MR. ARMSTRONG AND HIS WORLDWIDE CHURCH OF GOD (WCG) WAS DESTROYED
For more than three (3) decades of Satan's infiltration, even to the time of his death, HWA was not able to kick out Satan from the WCG!
This means that while the WCG was celebrating her "success" in preaching the "Gospel" to the whole world, with HWA busy travelling the world, meeting world leaders, the Synagogue of Satan inside the WCG was also very busy preparing for the final attack and control of the Church!
It is only a matter of time and the WCG will be conquered and destroyed. And as history shows us, the shocking end of Mr. Armstrong and the world-famous Worldwide Church of God (WCG) he founded did really happen!
Why? It is because HWA failed to eradicate the use of Make-up by women and wives in the Church! Why did HWA and his Church Ministry powerless to eradicate Make-up use in the Church? It is because they don't know God's MESSIANIC KABBALAH WISDOM!
HWA AND WCG MAIN FAILURE: THINKING THAT THEY ALREADY KNOW MARRIAGE, LACKING THE DESIRE FOR AN IN-DEPTH STUDY OF MARRIAGE!
Why did HWA not know Messianic Kabbalah? It is because he did not respond properly to the Marriage Problems in the Church. If he did, he should have conducted an in-depth study of the subject of the Divine Marriage Institution. The in-depth study of Marriage leads to, and opens the door of God's Messianic Kabbalah Wisdom, which is the TRUE GOSPEL of the Kingdom of God!
WHY did HWA and the WCG failed to study in-depth the subject of marriage, in spite of the fact they it is the number 1 problem in the Church?
PUTTING THE CHURCH "BACK ON TRACK" IS NOT ENOUGH!
And because of HWA's lack of Messianic Kabbalah knowledge (Hos 4:6), he was only able to suppress and put under control the open workings of Satan. This he called "putting the Church back on track." But the problem was not remove, it was only put under control.
So the "synagogue of Satan" with its own ministers and members, was able to take foothold inside the very Church of God! And because of the strong leadership of HWA, Satan and his ministers went "underground," but still INSIDE the Church.
Being subtle, the Church Ministers appeared as "Angels of Light" (2Co 11:14-15) and as "wolves in sheep clothing" (Mat 7:15). They acted as loyal supporters to HWA to get his trust and friendship, with their sinister plot and motives hidden in the background.
HWA was satisfied in putting the Church back on track, but he did not go further to really solve the problem. But God wanted HWA to go further and deeper than just putting the Church back on track! God wanted HWA to totally eliminate the major sin of marriage that is still in the Church! And this necessitates knowing and eliminating the root-cause of the problem.
THE BLURRED PERCEPTION OF THE PROBLEM:

But just putting the Church back on track is like putting the wheels of a derailed train back on track, without knowing the root-cause of why the train went off track in the first place! With this reactive and shallow approach to the problem, surely the train or the Church can go off-track again!
So, HWA did not realize that the root-cause of the Church's problem is marriage. He knew that the wives influenced their husband-ministers regarding the use of makeup. Yet, his focus of study and research is on the subject of make-up, not marriage!
HWA perceived the problem as only a problem of the use of makeup by women and wives in the church. HWA did not perceive it as a serious marriage problem. This is why his solution is only to "put the Church back on track."
MARRIAGE IN-DEPTH STUDY IS THE VITAL KEY TO OPEN THE DOOR LEADING TO THE MESSIANIC KABBALAH WISDOM
If HWA and his ministers only determined to research and study in-depth the subject of marriage, they would have been directed and guided by the Spirit of Truth to the Messianic Kabbalah Wisdom of God (John 16:13)!
- When the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth. For He will not speak on His own, but He will speak whatever He hears. He will also declare to you what is to come. (John 16:13)
- He will glorify Me, because He will take from what is Mine and declare it to you. (John 16:14)
This is what I did. As I
personally experienced marriage problem, I decided to do a serious
personal research and in-depth study of marriage. As I was doing this,
the Spirit of Truth guided and directed me to various sources until I
discovered the precious Messianic Kabbalah Wisdom, and the secret of the
Mega Mystery of Marriage (Ephesians 5:31-32)!
After Mr. Armstrong's death, the Worldwide Church of God (WCG), not only went off-track again, but it even changed direction in its travel. This is because they have forgotten the Law of the Great Creator God. Instead of going forward to the Kingdom of God -- to the Next World, the WCG went backward, back into the world of sinful pleasures and worldly pursuits! Therefore, God now forgets those "splinter groups and Churches" -- the children and "daughter churches" that came out from the original, but now destroyed, Worldwide Church of God!
- For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. (Eph 5:31 KJV)
- THIS A GREAT (MEGA) MYSTERY: but I speak concerning Christ and the Church. (Eph 5:32 KJV)
THE PROPHECY OF HOSEA 4:6 WAS FULFILLED IN THE TRAGIC END OF THE WORLDWIDE CHURCH OF GOD!
After Mr. Armstrong's death, the Worldwide Church of God (WCG), not only went off-track again, but it even changed direction in its travel. This is because they have forgotten the Law of the Great Creator God.
