The KINGDOM OF GOD is ready. GOD the FATHER is ready, CHRIST is ready, the Heavenly Angels are ready, the Marriage Feast is ready. The only thing not ready as of the moment is the WORTHINESS of God's People -- TheBRIDE. Are you worthy now? Can you answer this question in a positive way? If not, why not?

The BRIDE OF CHRIST MINISTRY OF LIFE
The PARABLE OF THE MARRIAGE FEAST
- The Kingdom of Heaven is like a certain King, who made a Marriage Feast for His son, and sent out His servants to call those who were invited to the Marriage Feast, but they would not come. (Mat 22:2-3 HNV)
- Again He sent out other servants, saying, 'Tell those who are invited, "Behold, I have made ready my dinner. My oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the Marriage Feast!"' (Mat 22:4 HNV)
- But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his merchandise, and the rest grabbed his servants, and treated them shamefully, and killed them. (Mat 22:5-6 HNV)
- When the King heard that, He was angry, and sent His armies, destroyed those murderers, and burned their city. (Mat 22:7 HNV)
- "Then He said to His servants, 'The wedding is ready, but those who were invited WERE NOT WORTHY. (Mat 22:8 HNV)
The Marriage Union is the closest, the most intimate, and most solemn of all the relationships formed among human beings, and that they who are thus united are one flesh. So is the Mystical Marriage Union which is formed between God and the soul through Jesus Christ by the Eternal Spirit. It is the closest, most intimate, solemn, and excellent that can be conceived; for he who is thus joined unto the Lord is One Spirit with Him.
This Marriage Contract is made freely: no man can be forced to it, for it is a union of will to will, heart to heart, mind to mind. And it is by willing and consenting that we come unto God the Father through his Son.
By those who had been invited (Mat 22:3), are meant the Jews in general, who are the Chosen People. When the invited guests were not interested in coming, the King sent forth other servants (Mat 22:4). When the prophets of the Old Testament were not listened to, GOD the Father sent forth His own Son, with His Apostles, who told them that the Marriage Feast was ready (the Kingdom of God was at hand), and to accept the Wedding Invitation by repentance and belief in the Good News (Gospel).
- Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying, The time is fulfilled, and the Kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the Gospel. (Mar 1:14-15 KJV)
By sending forth his troops (Mat 22:7), means the commission given to the Roman Army against Judea; and, burning up their city, the total destruction of Jerusalem by Titus, which happened about 40 years after.
The THREE GROUPS OF THE INVITEES
The invited guests are called upon to attend the royal wedding feast. Notice that there are three kinds or groups of guests according to their response to the invitation:
1. Those that simply would not come. These are the people who spend their lives just for the gratification of their physical senses. A sort of idle life, wherein a man thinks of nothing but quietly to enjoy life, conveniences, riches, private pleasures, and public diversions. Just eating and drinking, travel and vacation, fun and entertainment. They worked and lived to eat and enjoy. Their motto in life: "Let's eat and drink, for tomorrow we die."
2. Those religious people that made light of the invitation, being so busy with their careers, businesses, and their own interests in life. These are the people who are religious, go to their Churches, but they are wholly taken up with agricultural or commercial employments, in their businesses and careers. They love the fruits of their labors, "elevating their standards of physical living;" acquiring the modern appliances and gadgets in life, traveling places for vacations and visits, etc. In all these leisurely physical activities, they have put aside, or put in the background, their spiritual potential, welfare, and future rewards. By this, they take the risk of losing their spiritual salvation.
3. Those that treated GOD'S servants shamefully, and even killed some of them. These people are the kind of the openly unjust, violent, and outrageously wicked, who are sinners by profession. They not only neglects their salvation, but injuriously treats all those who bring them the Gospel of reconciliation. Seizing GOD'S servants, they treated them injuriously, and even murdered them.
By their rejection of the wedding invitation, which is the True Gospel of Christ (not of men), GOD destroyed the city of Jerusalem with the 2nd Temple, and the Jewish nation was given to long exile.
WHY TheBRIDE IS NOT MENTIONED IN THIS PARABLE
Notice also that TheBRIDE does not come into view in this parable. This is because all the invited guests are in the Church level, not yet in TheBRIDE level.
The word CHURCH came from the Greek word "ekklesia," which means the "called-out ones," or the "invited" ones. These are people that GOD called out of the world. When these 'called-out' or "invited" individuals are grouped together, in an assembly, the full meaning of CHURCH is defined. In other words, a CHURCH means just a group of people "called out of this world" assembling together. This assembly or Church must be built and transformed by Christ to become His BRIDE.
Therefore, to say that "the BRIDE is His Church," or that "the Church is His BRIDE," is technically wrong. We will soon see when will TheBRIDE appears.
EVERYTHING IS NOW READY, HOW ABOUT YOU? ARE YOU READY? ARE YOU WORTH IT?
MATTHEW HENRY BIBLE COMMENTARY says:
Behold, the dinner is prepared, the oxen and fatlings are killed, and all things are ready; the Father is ready to accept of us, the Son to intercede for us, the Spirit to sanctify us; pardon is ready; peace is ready, comfort is ready; the promises are ready, as wells of living water for supply; ordinances are ready, as golden pipes for conveyance; angels are ready to attend us, creatures are ready to be in league with us, providences are ready to work for our good, and heaven, at last, is ready to receive us; it is a kingdom prepared, ready to be revealed in the last time. Is all this ready; and shall we be unready? Is all this preparation made for us; and is there any room to doubt of our welcome, if we come in a right manner? Come, therefore, O come to the marriage; we beseech you, receive not all this grace of God in vain (2Co 6:1). -- Matthew Henry
The KINGDOM OF GOD is ready. GOD the FATHER is ready, CHRIST is ready, the Heavenly Angels are ready, the Marriage Feast is ready. The only thing lacking as of the moment is the WORTHINESS of GOD's people.
