THE
IGNORANCE OF THE GREAT MYSTERY OF MARRIAGE resulted to the polluted and
permissive concepts of Sex and Marriage in modern society today. The
plan to include sex education with "safe sex" in the curriculum of
schools is another push of immoral society that will increase and deepen
their corruption.

Today, the whole world is walking in the path of Sodom and Gomorrha. Many Nations have their so-called Reproductive Health (RH) Law that legalize the murder of the innocent next generations! Laws legalizing same-sex marriage are also enacted in many nations. All these poisonous fruits of the ignorance of the Great Mystery of Marriage will only worsen the immorality and corruption in society: increasing teen pregnancies, abortions, rapes, incests, pornography, homosexuality, sexual harassments. prostitution, AIDS, and other sexually transmitted diseases.
WHO ARE THE MODERN ONANS TODAY!
The use of condoms, contraceptives, and "safe sex" methods are all EVIL in GOD'S eyes! These devilish acts of men are all rooted in their carnal desires, and to control the world's population, so they can selfishly consume the earth's resources, sacrificing the next generations! This selfish motive is also a great sin against the divine institution of marriage and God's covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob-Israel.
GOD, therefore, will punish the MODERN ONANS of today with Death as He did to the Biblical Onan (Gen 38:9-10)! The modern Onans today are the supporters, advocates, and practitioners of the abominable "safe sex" and Reproductive Health (RH) methods.
WHAT ONAN DID IS THE VERY SAME PURPOSE OF CONDOMS AND CONTRACEPTIVES TODAY! AND GOD PUT HIM TO DEATH!
- And Judah said unto Onan, Go in unto thy brother's wife, and marry her, and raise up seed to thy brother. (Gen 38:8 KJV)
- But Onan knew that the offspring would not be his; so whenever he slept with his brother's wife, he released his semen on the ground so that he would not produce offspring for his brother. (Gen 38:9 HCSB)
- What he did was evil in the LORD's sight, so He put him to death. (Gen 38:10 HCSB)
THE LAW OF LEVIRATE MARRIAGE
- When brothers live on the same property and one of them dies without a son, the wife of the dead man may not marry a stranger outside the family. Her brother-in-law is to take her as his wife, have sexual relations with her, and perform the duty of a brother-in-law for her. (Deu 25:5)
- The first son she bears will carry on the name of the dead brother, so his name will not be blotted out from Israel. (Deu 25:6)
Long before the Mosaic law it was an established custom, founded on a Divine precept, that if a man died childless his brother was to take his wife, and the children produced by this second marriage were considered as the children of the first husband, and in consequence inherited his possessions.
ONAN'S SELFISH "SAFE SEX" MOTIVES ARE EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE MOTIVES OF "SAFE SEX" ADVOCATES TODAY!
But as Onan knew that the first-born son would not be the founder of his own family, but would perpetuate the family of the deceased and receive his inheritance, he deliberately prevented conception and pregnancy when consummating the marriage by spilling his semen. This is exactly the purpose of the present society promoting "SAFE SEX" by the use of condoms, and other newly-invented contraceptive methods!
Those sins that dishonor the body and defile it are very displeasing to God and evidences of vile affections. The sin of Onan was his refusal to raise up seed to his brother. By his shameful act mentioned above, he rendered himself incapable of it.
Onan did the abominable sin of spilling his semen because of his lack of concern to the name and future of his brother, and also because of his selfishness and covetousness to get his brother's estate and inheritance into his own consumption. This is exactly the hidden agenda of the present generation: to control the world's population, so that the resources of the earth will only for their own selfish consumption and lustful gratification, to the deprivation and sacrifice of the future generations!
These selfish acts and motives of the world are also great sins against the divine institution of marriage and God's covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob-Israel.
GOD, therefore, will punish the supporters and advocates of these abominable "safe sex" and other family planning methods, with death, as He did to Onan!
Do you support the abominable man-made RH LAW, or practice safe sex? If yes, then prepare to face death in the hands of God!

The claim is commonly made that the sin for which God struck Onan dead was failing to follow the Levir (Latin word - means "husband's brother"; the Hebrew is wə-yib-bə-māh. וְיִבְּמָֽהּ׃). Yet in the law of Moses the only penalty, which is enforced only upon the demand and infliction by the refused widow of his brother, is to be publicly spit on, denounced, and she then loosens his sandal-strap. Not death.
ReplyDeleteThe claim is also made that Onan was struck dead by the "hand" of God for disobeying his father, Judah. But death is not prescribed for that offense. If God, even in ancient times, struck every disobedient son dead, the Israelites would have been almost wiped out. Few sons never disobey their fathers.
A further claim is made that Onan died as a penalty for having an improper motive for deliberately failing to complete the sex act with his sister in law. But there is no substance to this, for simply being self-serving is never called a sin to be penalized by death.
What the Bible actually says is not that God killed Onan for what he DIDN'T do but for what he DID.
What Onan DID was to begin the sex act with his dead brother's widow but to deny her his seed (semen is Latin for seed; σπέρμα sperm(a) is Greek for seed) by pulling out and "destroying" (the actual meaning) it upon the ground.
Onan was put to death for what he DID, not for what he DIDN'T.
The law of Moses prescribes that for accidental, or incidental during or following the sex act, spilling of semen the person or persons, clothing, bedding, and everything the semen was spilled on was to be washed in water and the person or persons ceremonially "unclean" until sunset.
